Live in Essex or nearby? The weekend starting 2nd July is your chance to meet a host of local celebrities whilst raising money for a fantastic charity. Local football team Newbury Forest, in association with the Haven House Children’s Hospice, are proud to be holding a fun filled charity weekend at Redbridge Sports Centre on 2nd July 2011.

The Cause:
The Haven House Children’s Hospice is a special place for special children. They care for children and young people between the ages of 0 to 19 who have life-limiting conditions and who are unlikely to reach adulthood. They help families by providing a range of services that include day, short break and end of life care, together with therapeutic play in the community. Families can find the support they need when they need it most at no cost to themselves. Haven House Children’s Hospice is a charity looking after children and their families in Central and North East London and West Essex.
The Event:
Newbury Forest are a local football team with a majority of players coming from the Redbridge area. They are holding a weekend which will be enjoyable for all the family; including youth football tournaments, netball tournaments, a 24 hour football match, bouncy castles and assault courses for the children, a variety of special games organised throughout the day, BBQ, Pimm’s Tent and fully licensed bar for the adults, and much much more.
We have already got confirmed Sports Stars, TV Stars and Music Stars who will be making an appearance at the event.

Hello, today I saw a poster in a local shop in barkingside promoting the fun day on the 2/3 July Newbury FC and Haven House. We live locally and my son Ryan who is 14 years old sings and plays the piano. He has performed at many local venues and has twice supported St Clares Hospice Sunflower Ball at the Met Police Ground in Chigwell.
His passion is music and would love the opportunity to perform and support such a worthwhile charity. Please look at his videos on utube (type in ryangreenmusic11). Of course you may have already secured known professional musicians for the event, but if you are looking for a young local boy who would love the chance to sing and help Haven House please let us know.
